Alicya Eyo


Alycia's first television appearance was in 1997, in Casualty. She also made an appearance on  and appeared in Gold the follow up drama series to Band Of Gold. In 1999, Eyo appeared with Goldie in the David Bowie film   However, Eyo's big break came in 1998 when she was offered the part of Denny Blood, in .

In 2011 Alicia joined the cast of Emmerdale as Ruby Haskell, the lesbian partner of Ali Spencer, a role which she played until her dramatic on-screen death in 2015 when the village was rocked by a helicopter crash. 

Alycia has studied at the Court Theater Training Company and has been working professionally for 14 years. Eyo has also performed at various theatres including the Royal Court Theatre, Nothingham. She also performed in the critically acclaimed play 

Alycia is a Patron of LGBT Youth North West as well as a proud Patron of Manchester Pride
