Ross Adams

Ross moved to Manchester at the age of 18 from his home town of Stanley in County Durham to study performing arts at the University of Salford. On graduating he secured a talent agent and has had huge success both on screen and behind the scenes.

From guest appearances on Doctors and Emmerdale to supporting roles in Heburn and The Gemma Factor, where he was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award, Ross temporarily swopped being on screen to working as the assistant to the series producer for Coronation Street before moving to Emmerdale as a storyliner. Having written stories for over 400 episodes he then became a Script Editor: leaving the show in February 2015.

In April 2015, Ross returned to our screens as Scott Drinkwell in the popular Channel 4 teen soap drama, Hollyoaks.
