Terms & Conditions

Thank you for purchasing a ticket to this year’s Manchester Pride's The Big Weekend. The cost of your ticket contributes towards the delivery of the event and enables Manchester Pride to maximise fundraising efforts. Please observe the following Terms & Conditions relating to your Ticket and Entry in to the event.

MANCHESTER PRIDE'S 'THE BIG WEEKEND' 

TERMS OF ENTRY

Thank you for purchasing a ticket to this year’s Manchester Pride's The Big Weekend. The cost of your ticket contributes towards the delivery of the event and enables Manchester Pride to maximise fundraising efforts. Please observe the following Terms & Conditions relating to your Ticket and Entry in to the event.

THE POSSESSION OF THIS TICKET SHALL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE BY THE HOLDER OF THE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND ADVICE DETAILED BELOW AND IMPLY AN UNDERTAKING ON THE PART OF THE HOLDER TO OBSERVE THEM.

Tickets and Wristbands remain the property of Manchester Pride Ltd and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Admission to the Event

Management reserve the right to eject or refuse entry to any persons not wearing an official accreditation from the event areas. Any individual acting in a manner deemed inappropriate by management inside the event may be asked to leave.


You are purchasing ticket which are exchanged for Pledge Bands for Manchester Pride's The Big Weekend and not purchasing a ticket or Pledge Band to see a specific artist or performer.

The ticket and Pledge Band allows you access in to the event sites (capacities permitting) and access in to supporting Village Bars (please note additional entry charges may apply for door entry in bars and clubs which is beyond the control of Manchester Pride). 

A Day Ticket for the current day can be bought from the onsite Box Office from 10:00hrs until 21:00hrs. After 21:00hrs only full Big Weekend tickets will be available for purchase. We only have a limited number of Day Tickets available each day. Once these sell out only full Big Weekend tickets will be available to purchase. 

We reserve the right to refuse admission to the holder to event spaces if, in the reasonable opinion of the organiser, the admission of the holder to the event space might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the event, for example, if the holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively and/or we have reached capacities within the event space. 

Capacities within Staged Areas

Please note there are restricted capacities within the event site as well as the Main Stage Arena, Sackville Park, Dance Arena, VIP Club House and other tented structures. Once they reach the maximum capacities, there will be no further admissions, however entry may be permitted on a 1 in 1 out basis. You are not guaranteed admission to these areas in such cases.

We cannot guarantee you will granted access to the Performance Arenas once they reach full capacity in these areas.

The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the Event Site.


Your Ticket

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Tickets can only be refunded if the event does not take place.

Under no circumstances will duplicate tickets be issued for lost tickets. Keep your ticket safe.

Tickets for Manchester Pride's The Big Weekend should only be bought from authorised agents and not street sellers as you may be purchasing an invalid ticket. Reselling this ticket for profit or commercial gain will render it void.


Tickets must be exchanged for an official wristband at the Event during the Big Weekend, and must be visible at all times.


Time(s) day(s) and date(s) of the event may be subject to change.


Big Weekend Wristbands are water resistant and are to be worn at all times to gain access to the event site. Refunds or exchanges will not be given for ripped or broken wristbands.

Ticket conditions are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed on the premises. In the event of a breach of this contract by the organisers, the organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of the breach which was not reasonably foreseeable by the supplier at the date of this contract.

No tickets may be used for competitions or promotions without the prior written permission from Manchester Pride Ltd. This includes official Manchester Pride sponsors and media partners.

Changes to the billing

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the full, advertised bill performs. Your ticket is for the event and not to see a specific artist or band.

Manchester Pride Ltd reserves the right to change the bill or running time without prior notice.

There are disabled facilities including viewing platforms in staged areas. Once capacities on the viewing platforms are reached in The Main Arena, visitors should make there way to the Sackville Gardens Viewing Platform where the Main Stage Headliners are screened live. No admittance to the viewing platforms will be allowed once capacities are reached. There is accessible toilets around the event. For further info visit our website. Lost children should report to a member of Security or Police Officer. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Photography and Filming

Ticket holders consent to the photography, filming/sound recording of the event as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish Manchester Pride to use your picture, please inform the photographer.

Be Responsible

The people of Manchester are proud of our city and ask that everybody ensures they dispose of litter responsibly.

Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18.

Event Restrictions

No alcohol or glass to be brought into the Event.

The Manchester City Council byelaw prohibits street drinking outside the Event.


It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces.


No animals allowed on site with the exception of Assistance Dogs.

Strictly no illegal substances are permitted within the Event Site.

Persons entering the event may be searched as a condition of entry.

No bicycles

No unauthorised trading

No street peddling

No street promotion

No fly posting

No laser pens

No Selfie sticks
