2023 marked a significant milestone for Manchester Pride. In recent years, we’ve listened closely to the communities we serve and support, a process that has been invaluable in shaping our organisation and mission for the future.

Our 2023 strategy was designed with a clear focus on creating opportunities and offering support for the unique challenges faced by QTIPOC (Queer, Trans, Intersex People of Colour) and the broader trans community. By prioritising their voices and experiences, we aim to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment at our events and across Greater Manchester—reflecting our core values of Unity, Liberation, and Joy.

Thanks to your generous donations and ticket purchases, our grant-giving initiatives have empowered grassroots projects, enriching the lives of diverse queer communities throughout the city. At Manchester Pride Festival, you helped create safe spaces for celebration, protest, and empowerment, providing a vital platform to amplify LGBTQ+ voices from all backgrounds.

We’re thrilled to announce that together, our ticket buyers and generous supporters raised £105,854 for the Manchester Pride Community Fund, which will be distributed through our grant funds to support LGBTQ+ groups, charities, initiatives, and events across Greater Manchester—at a time when they need it most.
