The Manchester Pride Community Fund raises essential funds to support LGBTQ+ communities. Every penny donated to the Manchester Pride Community Fund goes directly to LGBTQ+ causes and projects in Greater Manchester. This means none of the money you donate goes to the day to day operations of The Manchester Pride Charity. 

Our incredible volunteers dedicate thousands of hours over the course of the year to support LGBTQ+ people, events and culture in Greater Manchester. Our volunteer team has to grown to 400+, so you can see why our volunteers are a driving force behind the smooth-running of the Manchester Pride Festival and a key part of helping Manchester Pride achieve our charitable objectives. Manchester Pride’s trustees are the unsung heroes who have independent control over and legal responsibility for a charity's management and administration. They are the guiding hands behind the scenes, ensuring that the charity fulfil its missions and make a real difference in the lives of people LGBTQ+ people in Greater Manchester. Most importantly, trustees are volunteers who offer their time and expertise for a cause they deeply care about.

From club nights to baking masterclasses to getting free books into schools, our grants respond to all the needs of LGBTQ+ people in Greater Manchester. Manchester Pride distributes funds to projects throughout the year with the support of an expert Community Grants Panel made up of independent members of the community.
