Founded in 1996 in Amsterdam, Booking.com has grown from a small Dutch startup to one of the world’s leading digital travel companies. Booking.com’s mission is to make it easier for everyone to experience the world. Booking.com seamlessly connects millions of travellers with memorable experiences, a range of transportation options and incredible places to stay - from homes to hotels and much more.
Our global B.proud community (LGBTQ+ & Allies Employee Resource Group) was set up to create a workspace of openness, inclusion and acceptance allowing everyone to be proud of who they are and be their authentic self in the workplace!
In August 2022 we set up the first regional B.proud ERG in the UK, we wanted to create a community that focused on our UK offices and employee base. After a successful and fabulous Manchester Pride this year, we set out to provide support, guidance, education and opportunities for our LGBTQ+ staff and allies.
We are also actively working with a variety of LGBTQ+ organisations across the UK as part of our Booking Cares programme, where colleagues take time from work to help and support charities in the work that they do.
Diversity of all kinds has been an integral part of Booking.com culture from day one. We have always prided ourselves on cultivating an open and inclusive environment where everyone can bring their full self to work. Regardless of where you come from, who you love or how you identify, our aim is to make sure that Booking.com is a place where you can do your best work, learn, grow and have opportunities to develop further, both professionally and personally.
