Join like minded individuals as Manchester Pride brings together a diverse group of people to learn, discuss, celebrate and share resources.
Manchester Pride’s Community Sessions aim to platform issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community by bringing together professionals, those with lived experience and members of the community to learn, discuss, share resources and celebrate the diverse LGBTQ+ community that makes Manchester a brilliant place to live.
This month join Out In The City to discuss being aged 50+ and being LGBTQ+ in Greater Manchester. Lead by Tony Openshaw, the discussion will centre around the brilliant work of Out In The City during the last year. This will include the challenges that come with being included in the Pride movement and what we can all do to fully include, support and celebrate those in the community who have paved the way for us.
About this session
Manchester Pride Community Sessions take place at The Proud Place - Manchester's LGBT+ Community Centre.
Doors open at 6pm, and the event takes place from 6:30pm-8pm.
Community Sessions are open to all LGBTQ+ people and allies.
Spaces at each session are limited, so please make sure you sign up to reserve your free place.
