Manchester Pride’s Community Sessions aim to platform issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community by bringing together professionals, those with lived experience and members of the community to learn, discuss, share resources and celebrate the diverse LGBTQ+ community that makes Manchester a brilliant place to live.
At this month's session, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the impact of the proposed Illegal Migration Bill on LGBTQ+ people, the fantastic work being done by refugee support groups in Greater Manchester, and share resources on what we can do to support LGBTQ+ immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees.
Manchester Pride Community Sessions take place at The Proud Place - Manchester's LGBT+ Community Centre.
Doors open at 6pm, and the event takes place from 6:30pm-8pm.
Community Sessions are open to all LGBTQ+ people and allies.
All attendees must adhere to our Humanity Pledge whilst in attendance at Manchester Pride events, and we ask you to be mindful and considerate of the space you are in when in attendance at our events.
Spaces at each session are limited, so please make sure you sign up to reserve your free place.
Each attendee must register for their own ticket.
We want to ensure that our Community Sessions are accessible to all. Please contact info@manchesterpride.com if you have any accessibility requirements and our team will be happy to discuss any accommodations with you.
