Join us for this month’s Community Session that discusses surviving the festive season!
The festive season can be particularly difficult for LGBTQ+ people. Join Manchester Pride and Trans Pride MCR at our next Community Session to connect with people, enjoy some food, and learn how you can support yourself and the queer and trans people close to you at this time of year.
What to expect
Engaging Discussions: Connect with people from all over Greater Manchester and learn from the lived experience and knowledge of community members living in Manchester.
Guest Speakers: Learn from the experiences of community members, artists and activists.
Networking Opportunities: Meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for creating a united community and wider understanding of marginalised communities in Greater Manchester. Exchange ideas, collaborate on initiatives, and explore potential partnerships.
Have a voice and be heard! We're opening up the floor for attendees to share their perspectives and experiences. Your voice matters, and we welcome anyone who is educated or has lived experince to share their knowledge.
About this session
- Manchester Pride Community Sessions take place at The Proud Place - Manchester's LGBT+ Community Centre.
- Doors open at 6pm, and the event takes place from 6:30pm-8pm.
- Community Sessions are open to all LGBTQ+ people and allies.
- All attendees must adhere to our Humanity Pledge whilst in attendance at Manchester Pride events, and we ask you to be mindful and considerate of the space you are in when in attendance at our events.
- Spaces at each session are limited, so please make sure you sign up to reserve your free place.
- Each attendee must register for their own ticket.
- If you are unable to attend, please let us know at engagement@manchesterpride.com so we can offer your space to someone else.
- This session is catered. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
