Manchester Pride's Community Sessions spotlight grassroots organisations that support intersectional LGBTQ+ communities.

Each month we'll invite you to join us in celebrating and learning more about the incredible community groups that make LGBTQ+ life in Manchester so special.

Community Session: Hidayah

In this session, you will get to learn about the incredible work of Hidayah and how you can get involved. There will then be an exclusive screening of a short film. Following this there will be opportunity to get to know other attendees, and food will be provided. We hope you can join us in celebrating and learning more about the incredible community groups that make LGBTQ+ life in Manchester so special!

Who are Hidayah? 

Hidayah (هداية) means guidance. They support and serve queer Muslims in the UK, the US and across the world. 

Hidayah's collective mission is to provide support and welfare for LGBTQI+ Muslims and promote social justice and education about our community to counter discrimination, prejudice and injustice. They aspire to create a society free from discrimination and expand the visibility of LGBTQI+ Muslims.
