Our Community Session in February was an evening of queer South Asian and Middle Eastern joy, facilitated by the incredible House of Spice.
House of Spice is a fabulous LGBTQ+ South Asian and Middle Eastern Artist and Performance House. Through their campaigns and performances, they slay, they elevate and they show the world they exist loud and proud.
The event celebrated LGBTQ+ South Asian and Middle Eastern communities, featuring some delicious South Asian and Middle Eastern food provided by Lily's Deli, and dazzling entertainment from Lucky Roy Singh.
All of our community sessions are held at The Proud Place which helps maintain a neutral and safe space, filled with queer brown joy.
The feedback board in the centre of the room allowed people the chance to write down how they felt about Manchester Pride, anonymous or not, and have open discussions with team members at the event about how they want to be supported and represented through Manchester Pride's events and initiatives.
