Whether you’re travelling in and out of the city centre for Manchester Pride Festival, or looking to get around Manchester for our Festival strand events like the Gay Village Party, Parade, Family Pride MCR and Youth Pride MCR, you can do so by tram, bus, train, cycling or walking.
Travel to the Manchester Pride Festival on Metrolink and get your fare worked out for you. Your closest stops are St Peter’s Square, Piccadilly Gardens and Picadilly Station. Deansgate-Castlefield will drop you off closest to Family Pride MCR, where you and your family can watch the Parade go by from Great Northern, and St Peter’s Square drops you right in the action, and is closer to the Accessible Viewing Area.
Beat the queue at the machines and touch-in and out at the on-stop machines using contactless. So you can join the party quicker! You can also save money as a family with a Family Travelcard, available from the on-stop Metrolink machines.
With all adult singles now costing £2, and an AnyBus travelcard costing £5 on Greater Manchester bus services, travel in and out of the city centre with ease for Manchester Pride Festival. If you’re heading to Youth Pride MCR, you can hop off the bus on Oxford Rd just outside Circle Square and head in for a day of performances, a Wardrobe of Wonders and a vogueing tutorial!
Planned strike action is due to impact First and Stagecoach bus services over the Pride weekend. Please check before you travel.
