The House of Queens, Kings, and Holy Things is brought to you by Manchester Pride's Youth Pride MCR. We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for young people aged 14-18 (or up to the age of 25 for those with additional needs) to explore self-expression through drag in a safe space with their peers.
Our primary objective is to provide creative development opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. We believe in the power of drag to build confidence, improve mental health, and foster meaningful connections. Through a series of engaging and fun workshops, facilitated by the Drag Kings of Manchester, we aim to empower young individuals to embrace their authentic selves and explore the vibrant world of drag.
"Drag is about forgetting your problems, enjoying the moment and having the confidence to leave the house in a garish outfit. It’s about loving yourself and being who you want to be."
Danny Beard
