TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THE BELOW APPLIES TO ALL TICKETS TO MANCHESTER PRIDE PURCHASED VIA TICKETMASTER OR AN OFFICIAL TICKET OUTLET. THIS INCLUDES TICKETS TO GAY VILLAGE PARTY TICKETS AND INCLUDES VIP TICKETS.
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND UPDATED AT ANY TIME. ALTHOUGH YOU MAY BE INFORMED OF ANY CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF THESE TAKE PLACE AFTER YOUR PURCHASE, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TICKET HOLDER TO CHECK THESE TERMS AND CONTACT US IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH ANY OF THE TERMS OUTLINED BELOW. THE POSSESSION OF THIS TICKET SHALL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE BY THE HOLDER OF THE CURRENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS DETAILED BELOW AND IMPLY AN UNDERTAKING ON THE PART OF THE HOLDER TO OBSERVE THEM.
Thank you for purchasing a ticket to the Manchester Pride. Please observe the following Terms & Conditions relating to your ticket and entry into the events.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Gay Village Party does not have an age restrictions and customers of all ages are welcome. However, there may be some events or activity which may be restricted to over 18s and ID checks will be carried out at the entrance to event areas. We only accept a valid in date passport, driving licence or National proof of age ID card that displays the PASS hologram. Manchester Pride does not have any control over individual Village venues age restrictions policy.
Tickets must be exchanged for Pledge Bands by individual ticket holders. One person may not collect Pledge Bands for any other individual as each Pledge Band will be placed directly on the wrist of the ticket holder by Box Office staff. You may be asked for proof of age before your Pledge Band is issued.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18).
PROGRAMME
Your ticket is for the event and not to see a specific artist or band. Your Gay Village Party Pledge Band is to facilitate access into the Manchester Pride operated venues in the Gay Village.
Manchester Pride reserves the right to change the programme or running times without prior notice.
CAPACITIES
There are agreed safe capacities in all areas of the event. Once these are reached, there will be no further admissions to each area and entry may be on a 1 in 1 out basis. This is to ensure the safety of all visitors and this supports a Gay Village site wide crowd management plan which has been agreed via the Safety Advisory Group and responsible authorities.
We cannot guarantee you will be granted access to any particular event area or to see a particular artist once areas reach full capacity.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the holder to event spaces if, in the reasonable opinion of the organiser, the admission of the holder to the event space might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the event, for example, if the holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively and/or we have reached capacities within the event space.
The Gay Village Party ticket and Pledge Band allows you access into the event areas and the event site (capacities permitting) and access into supporting Village bars. Additional entry charges may apply for door entry in bars and clubs which is beyond the control of Manchester Pride.
LAST ENTRY
All the venues operating within the Gay Village have individual last entry times which will be advertised separately. There is no last entry time for entry in the Gay Village. We reserve the right to change the last entry time without prior notice.
SEARCHES AND BAG POLICY
Everyone will be subject to search on entry to event areas. Please cooperate with stewards who are conducting searches for your safety.
Before entering, detailed searches of clothing and bags will be carried out. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission, ejected from the event and may be handed to the Police. See below list of prohibited items.
We would advise you only bring a bag if you deem it imperative.
We also reserve the right to search whilst inside the event areas. Please assist our security teams by cooperating with all instructions. If customers refuse to be searched, they will be refused entry to event areas and refunds will not be issued.
Manchester Pride reserves the right to refuse admission to the event for any reason including but not limited to customers being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and/or acting aggressively.
GENERAL TICKET TERMS
Time(s) day(s) and date(s) of the event may be subject to change.
We may have a limited number of weekend and day tickets available each day. Once weekend tickets have sold out, an allocation of day tickets may still be available to purchase or vice versa.
Family tickets are valid for either X2 adults and X2 children, or X1 adult and X3 children. Family tickets are valid for children aged 3 - 15 years old. Babies in arms aged 2 and under do not require a ticket.
The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the Events.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Tickets can only be refunded if the event does not take place.
Please keep your ticket safe, under no circumstances will replacement tickets or Pledge Bands be issued if they are lost. Refunds or exchanges will not be given for ripped or broken Pledge Bands or Wristbands. Tickets must be exchanged for an official Pledge Band or Wristband and must be visible at all times.
Tickets for Manchester Pride Festival should only be bought from authorised agents and not street sellers as you may be purchasing an invalid ticket. Reselling this ticket for profit or commercial gain will render it void.
If you are unable to attend, please use the resale ticket option which can be used to sell tickets directly to other Ticketmaster customers and can be utilised from within your online Ticketmaster account. Please only purchase tickets from official ticket outlets.
No tickets may be used for competitions or promotions without the prior written permission from Manchester Pride. This includes official Manchester Pride sponsors and media partners.
Tickets, Wristbands, Pledge Bands and all accreditation remain the property of Manchester Pride and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Manchester Pride reserves the right to eject or refuse entry to any persons not wearing official accreditation from the event. Any individual acting in a manner deemed inappropriate by management inside an event area may be asked to leave.
FILMING
CCTV is in operation at the event.
Ticket holders consent to the photography, filming/sound recording of the event as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish Manchester Pride to use your picture, please inform the photographer. The events will be filmed and recorded. Buying a ticket affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as a member of the audience.
CHALLENGE 25
Manchester Pride operates a Challenge 25 Policy. You may be required to present proof of ID on entry and we only accept a valid in date passport, driving licence or national proof of age ID card that displays the PASS hologram.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
Strictly no illegal substances are permitted within the event areas. There is a strict ZERO tolerance drugs policy.
No alcohol or glass to be brought into the event areas.
It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces.
Manchester Pride reserves the right to refuse admission and confiscate any item which may not be suitable at the event as well as a danger to others or the venue when entering. See the prohibited items list below.
There may be exceptions offered for our accessibility customers which will be communicated separately.
Manchester Pride reserve the right to prohibit any item or goods within our venues, including, but not limited to:
DRONES
Any unmanned aircraft/drone, or radio controls of any size or type, will not be allowed into the event areas as a condition of the ticket sale agreement. This is also the policy to any event area where no ticket is required by the public to attend such as queuing areas. If such a device, or controls for such a device, are found then the organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and if necessary pass details to the police.
COMPLAINTS AND FEEDBACK
If you wish to send a complaint or feedback, please email info@manchesterpride.com and quote your booking reference number. We will aim to respond to complaints within 28 days, with a further 28-day extension added if a more in-depth investigation is required. The deadline for complaints received regarding Manchester Pride is 30th September each year following the event.
