Our incredible volunteers dedicate thousands of hours over the course of the year to support LGBTQ+ people, events and culture in Greater Manchester. Our volunteer team has to grown to 400+, so you can see why our volunteers are a driving force behind the smooth-running of the Manchester Pride Festival and a key part of helping Manchester Pride achieve our charitable objectives.

Why volunteer for Manchester Pride?
Without the invaluable support from our incredible volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to do the things we do for LGBTQ+ communities across Greater Manchester. We provide LGBTQ+ individuals and allies with a platform to develop skills, forge new connections, and the unique opportunity to be a part of the global pride movement, right at the heart of the action. Who can volunteer for Manchester Pride?
Applications are open to absolutely everyone regardless of faith, race, ethnicity, ability, sexuality and gender identity. To volunteer, you must be 16+ but please note that some events or venues maybe 18+ only.

The huge variety of roles available makes volunteering for Manchester Pride not only an exciting and rewarding experience, but offers multiple opportunities to help you upskill and add some great experience to your CV. You’ll receive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training as part of our volunteers’ programme, which is invaluable in ensuring you’re able to best support intersectional queer communities.
